If any of you were able to catch the Broadway hit musical The Color Purple, then you will recall the phenomenal young woman who played “Shug Avery.” Elisabeth Withers played that role and she will be a featured artist at THINK BLACK! This acclaimed singer/performer’s extraordinary voice and fierce spirit garnered her a prestigious Tony Award nomination.
